The Better Cotton Initiative is an international non-profit organization based in Switzerland. BCI works to improve global cotton production for those who produce it, the environment in which it is grown and the future of the industry. Its members represent links in the cotton economic and production chain.

BCI prioritizes the continuous improvement of good production practices; fair labor relations; socio-environmental responsibilities and priority on RAINFED cotton (without irrigation), fed by rainwater.
